A bold thought, even in the early 1990s.
However. The idea ended up quickly and hard on the ground of the facts. After all, every state has to show such a protected area according to its laws, and they are very different. In Germany we are now celebrating the 30th anniversary because the National Park was shown in 1995 by the Brandenburg state parliament. In Poland, the procedure is much more complicated, so that we in fact have a cross -border protection system than a uniform park.
Then Poland Minister of the Environment Paulina Hennig-Klloska took care of the matter?
There are 23 national parks in Poland, including very well -known ones such as the Białowieża National Park. No new one has been added since 2004. But Ms. Hennig-Klloska used a task force for the Lower Oder Valley right after taking office. After his intensive work, we are now very confident that there will be an expulsion as a national park in Poland by the end of 2025, so that the common dream of Succows and Jasnowskis is fulfilled in this respect when we will have a real German-Polish international park.
